     This product is a wired, 3 button mini led dimmer for single color strip leds. It works with 12V-24V DC and gives up to 6A output current. The supply (12-24V +/-) comes out of one end of the white plastic body and the led output (LED +/-) out of the other end, with red-black cables; it is connected between the adapter and the led strip and is ready to use with solder or a terminal block.

     With the 3 buttons on the body, the led strip is lit at full brightness (LIGHT), the brightness is adjusted in 8 steps (SPEED) and one of the ready made flashing / transition effects is selected (MODE/DEMO). The selected setting is saved to memory; after a power cut the dimmer continues to work with the same setting.

     Its thin body of approximately 42mm x 12mm is small enough to stay on the cable in cabinet, under-counter, showcase and signboard lighting. It can be used with 5050, 3528 and 5630 single color strip leds and with led lamps working on 12V-24V.

     8 step brightness: Each press of the SPEED button changes the output by one step; the brightness of the strip is set according to the room.

     Memory: The last selected mode and brightness are saved; no new setting is needed after a power cut or after the adapter is switched off and on.

     Compatible with 12V and 24V strips: It works in the 12V-24V DC range; with up to 6A output current it drives strips up to 72W at 12V and 144W at 24V.

     Wired mini body: Input and output cables come attached; the thin body fits into a cable duct or inside a cabinet.

Usage information:

• Make the connections while the adapter is off: connect the red cable on the "12-24V" side to the + terminal of the adapter and the black cable to the - terminal; connect the red cable on the "LED" side to the + end of the strip and the black cable to the - end.
• The adapter voltage must be the same as the led strip voltage: use a 12V adapter for a 12V strip and a 24V adapter for a 24V strip.
• Press LIGHT to light the strip at full brightness, SPEED to adjust brightness in steps and MODE/DEMO to select an effect. The last setting is saved.
• Solder the connection ends and insulate them with heat shrink or insulating tape; if you use a terminal block, tighten the ends firmly.

Points to consider:

•  This product is for single color strip led; it does not control RGB (3 color) or addressable (WS2812 etc.) strip leds.
•  It works with DC only; do not connect it directly to the 220V mains. The input is taken from the adapter output.
•  Do not mix up the input and output cables or the + and - ends; reverse connection and a short circuit at the output damage the dimmer.
•  The current drawn by the strip must not exceed 6A (72W at 12V, 144W at 24V). For long term use stay below 75W; the dimmer can heat up in a closed space.
•  No waterproof rating is specified for the body; do not use it in wet and humid places.
