     The Servo Bracket Mounting Part is a multi-purpose aluminium bracket used to mount standard size servo motors such as MG995, MG996R and S3003 and to join them to each other. It is made from a single piece of bent aluminium sheet; the servo body sits in the U shaped cradle of the bracket and is screwed through the two side ears. It measures about 58mm x 36.5mm x 25mm, weighs 15gr and has a black finish.

     Thanks to the many mounting holes on the base and side faces, it can be attached to a servo horn, a second bracket or a body plate in different directions. This lets your system perform pan tilt, left-right and up-down movements, and besides the motors you can also add cameras, sensors and other parts to the assembly.

     It is suitable for robot arm joints, leg joints of humanoid and hexapod walking robots, camera pointing and solar tracker mechanisms. The product is the bracket only; servo motor, screws and servo horn are not included in the package.

Usage information:

• Place the servo in the U cradle of the bracket with its shaft facing the open side of the bracket; fix the servo mounting ears to the side holes of the bracket with screws and nuts.
• For a second axis, screw a servo horn (metal or plastic servo arm) to the base holes of the bracket, or join the bracket to a second bracket such as a U bracket or L bracket.
• Check the size of your servo before mounting: the bracket is made for standard size servos with a body of about 40mm x 20mm.

Precautions:

•  The bracket is made for standard size servos; it does not fit micro servos such as SG90 or MG90S.
•  Servo motor, screws, nuts and servo horn are not included in the package; they must be purchased separately.
•  The aluminium sheet is thin, so do not over-tighten the screws; use washers if needed.
•  In long arm joints the load must not exceed the servo torque; for heavy loads, fit a bearing on the opposite side of the joint to relieve the servo shaft.
