The adjustment pot is sensitive. It can be damaged by hard and rough impacts. You must make the adjustment without applying force.
This module is made with the TP4056 chip. It can charge 1 cell 3.7V lithium batteries or batteries connected in parallel. The TP4056 can charge precisely with a simple circuit structure. This module has a fully automatic charging mechanism. It is produced from Smd components.
Besides battery charging, there is also a voltage boost circuit on the board. The output voltage can be adjusted with the small pot on the board. The load output voltage is set to 9V at the factory. You can boost the 4V battery voltage up to 28V and transfer it to the load. Turning the pot clockwise increases the voltage. At 2V battery voltage the voltage boost operation stops automatically. You can use the output voltages and currents as 5V 1A / 9V 0.55A / 12V 0.4A / 28V 0.15A.
The module has self-regulation current capability. It can charge between 100mA and 1000mA. The charge current is set to 1A. If you wish, you can change the current value by changing the resistor.
It takes the supply voltage over the type c usb socket or from the supply input pads on the back of the board. The test current can be measured from the input side. The charge current must be at most 0.37 of the battery capacity. A 1A battery is suitable to be charged with at most 0,4A. Charging with high currents in a shorter time damages the battery.
The wires to be used in the supply and battery connections must be of good quality and short. Poor quality cables will affect the charge current because of the resistance they show. During charging the red led indicator glows at full brightness and the blue led glows dimly. When the battery is fully charged the blue led starts to light at full brightness.
During charging or when power is transferred to the load, heating may occur in the product, this is normal.

Usage:
- The board is powered from the Type C socket or the IN+- inputs on the back surface.
- The battery cell to be charged is connected to the B+ and B- pins.
- A load can be connected to the VO+ and VO- pins. The load voltage adjustment is made with the potentiometer.
- The red led lights during charging. When charging is finished the blue led lights.
- Never charge your batteries at a rate greater than 1C.
