IR Infrared Fire Detector Security Alarm Robotic Coding Arduino Iot
It is designed to detect the infrared light emitted by flame and fire sources. It is a compact and economical sensor module used in short range fire detection applications. It shows high sensitivity to IR light in the 760nm to 1100nm wavelength range. It provides a digital output with the LM393 comparator IC and can be used directly with microcontrollers.
When a flame, sunlight or a strong IR source is detected, if the set threshold is exceeded the status led lights up and a digital LOW or HIGH level is produced from the DO pin.
It can be used as a fire detection sensor in fire extinguishing robots. Sensitivity can be adjusted with the trimpot on it and a digital output is obtained. This module is suitable for fire alarm systems, automatic shutdown or triggering scenarios, experimental projects and educational applications.
