     It is the board that converts the RS232 serial port on your computer to TTL logic level. It is made with the Max3232 integrated circuit. Using this board you can use it for communication between your computer and various electronic devices. It works trouble-free with circuits having a supply between DC 3.3V or 5V.

     There are power inputs shown with + and - located at the two ends of the board. There are supply pads on both sides. It is sufficient for you to supply power from only 1 side. Signal directions are shown with arrows. The arrow going inward is the input Rx terminal. The one going out is the tx terminal.
