     The TEMT6000 light sensor module is an analog output sensor designed to measure the amount of visible light in the environment. Working in a range close to the spectrum the human eye can perceive, it is sensitive to natural light levels. It is ideal for detecting natural light sources such as sunlight and room light. Since it does not detect IR (infrared) light, it provides a more realistic ambient light measurement. As the light increases, the analog voltage value will also increase proportionally.

     The module is ready for direct use with the resistors and capacitors on it. It can be used by connecting directly to your microcontroller board (Arduino, STM32, ESP8266, ESP32 etc.) without the need for an external circuit component. An analog voltage between 0 V and VCC is obtained from the signal output pin in proportion to the light intensity in the environment.

     It can be used as an ambient light sensor for the control of screen backlight dimming, in LCD screens and keypad backlighting of mobile devices, in industrial on / off lighting, automotive sensors, mobile phones, laptops, PDAs, cameras and panels.
