3S 40A Lithium Battery BMS Protection Board  Enhanced

Battery Li-ion 18650 12.6V

It is suitable for 3 series 18650 batteries. It does not charge batteries. It is for battery protection.

In drills 3 pieces of  15-20C batteries must be used. Or 2x3 Pieces of 10c-15C batteries should be used. Standard 18650 batteries cannot be used in applications such as drills.

The battery connection is shown in picture number 2. Groups of 3 batteries can be connected in parallel more than once. A faulty connection will damage the product and the batteries.

Enhanced Edition: Suitable for starting current below 80A, power 135W below the drill.

     With this module you can quickly charge high capacity 3S lithium batteries, thanks to the voltage protections on it, it protects your batteries from being charged at high voltages and also prevents current from being drawn from your batteries that are about to run out, preventing the batteries from being damaged.

     Batteries must be charged at limited currents. Charging batteries without current control causes the battery life to decrease. Similarly, drawing high current rapidly from the batteries also damages the batteries. Even though Bms products appear to charge batteries, they do not perform current control. It is appropriate to use them only for the purpose of protecting the batteries. You need to charge your batteries with a current controlled source together with your bms boards. The battery charging current should be at levels such as 1/10  2/10 of the battery capacity. Remember that charging or discharging at very high current will decrease the battery life while gaining time/power.
