     CR2032 is a 3V lithium coin (button) cell, 20mm in diameter and 3.2mm thick. It is a lithium manganese dioxide cell for single use and cannot be recharged. Its capacity is about 210mAh; it powers low current devices for a long time. It weighs about 3gr. This product is 1 battery.

     Because its self discharge is low, it is preferred in devices that stand for a long time: it keeps the BIOS settings and the clock on a computer motherboard, and it is used in remote controls, car keys, scales, kitchen scales, calculators, watches, toys, small flashlights and medical devices. The printed flat face of the cell is positive (+) and the opposite face is negative (-); it fits directly into a CR2032 battery holder.

Usage information:

• Check the mark on the holder when inserting the cell; in most holders the printed positive (+) face points up. Hold the cell by its edge and try not to touch its faces with your fingers.
• When replacing the cell on a computer motherboard, shut down the computer and unplug it; after the replacement the BIOS clock and settings may be reset, set them again.
• Remove the cell from a device that will not be used for a long time; keep spare cells at room temperature in a dry place.

Precautions:

•  A swallowed coin cell can cause serious internal burns within a few hours. Keep cells out of the reach of children; if you suspect a cell was swallowed, go to the emergency department immediately.
•  This cell cannot be recharged; do not try to charge it. The similar looking LIR2032 is a rechargeable 3.6V cell; it is used instead of CR2032 only if the device supports LIR2032.
•  Do not let both faces of the cell touch metal (keys, coins) at the same time; a short circuit heats and drains the cell.
•  Do not throw a used cell into household waste; drop it in a used battery collection box.
