     TT Wheel is a robot car wheel of about 65mm diameter and about 25mm - 27mm width, mounted directly on the output shaft of yellow TT gear DC motors. A black rubber tire with a raised tread pattern is fitted on the yellow plastic rim; the wheel comes as one piece, there is no need to mount the tire separately. Its weight is about 30gr.

     The double D (two flat sides) hole of about 5.3mm x 3.66mm in the center of the rim matches the double flat shaft of the TT motor; the wheel is pushed onto the shaft without a coupling or adapter and does not slip on the shaft. The treaded surface of the tire reduces slipping on floors such as tables, parquet and carpet, and runs quieter than hard plastic wheels.

     It is used as a drive wheel in smart car chassis built with two or four TT motors, obstacle avoiding and line follower robots, mini sumo and remote control toy vehicles. This listing is for the wheel only; the TT motor is not included in the package.

Usage information:

• Align the double D hole of the wheel with the flat faces of the TT motor shaft and push the wheel straight all the way without bending the shaft. Support the motor body while mounting; do not transfer the force to the gearbox.
• Leave a 1mm - 2mm gap between the wheel and the motor body; if the wheel rubs the body, the motor is loaded and the vehicle pulls to one side.
• When removing the wheel, hold the rim near the hub and pull straight; do not pull by the tire or the rim spokes.

Things to consider:

•  The wheel is made for the double D (two flat sides) shaft of the TT motor; it does not fit motors with round or different diameter shafts directly.
•  The rim is plastic. Do not hammer it on or force it excessively onto the shaft; the rim hub may crack.
•  In heavily loaded vehicles and with long use on hard floors the tire wears; replace worn wheels in pairs.
•  The product is a single wheel; TT motor, chassis and screws are not included in the package.
