     The XH-M203 is a relay level control board that fills a water tank automatically. It is powered by AC or DC 12V and switches a water pump or solenoid valve on and off with its SRD-12VDC-SL-A relay (contact rating 10A 250VAC / 10A 30VDC). The board has 2 separate sensor inputs for the low and high level, screw terminals for supply and relay output, a red power LED and 2 green status LEDs. The board, approximately 60mm x 39mm, is fixed with the M3 screw holes in its 4 corners.

     The product does not work on its own; it fills the tank according to the information from the sensors. One sensor is mounted at the height where the tank level is considered low, the other at the height where it is considered full. When the water level falls below the low level sensor, the board energises the relay and the pump runs. The pump keeps running until the water reaches the high level sensor; when the tank is full the pump is switched off by the signal from the high sensor. The board waits until the water drops to the low level again and refills the tank. This way the pump does not switch on and off frequently with small level changes.

Key features:

     Fully automatic tank filling: Turns the pump on at the low level and off at the high level; waits between the two levels. No adjustment or button is needed after installation.

     AC and DC 12V supply: The supply terminal is marked AC/DC12V; it works with a 12V adapter, battery or 12V AC transformer output.

     10A relay output: The SRD-12VDC-SL-A relay is marked with a 10A 250VAC / 10A 30VDC contact rating; small pumps and solenoid valves are driven directly, powerful pumps through a contactor.

     Separate low and high level inputs: 2 sensors plug into 2 pin sockets; by changing the sensor heights, the levels at which the pump starts and stops are set to suit the tank.

     LED indicators: The red LED shows power, the 2 green LEDs show the board status; operation is easy to follow during installation.

Usage information:

• Connect the 12V supply to the AC/DC12V terminal. Route the pump supply line through the relay output terminal; the relay switches the pump line on and off like a switch.
• Mount the low level sensor where you consider the tank level to be low and the high level sensor at a suitable height where the tank counts as full, then plug their cables into the low and high level sockets on the board.
• Watch the tank on first start: check that the pump runs at the low level and stops at the high level, and change the sensor heights if needed.

Things to consider:

•  The product does not work on its own; 2 level sensors must be bought separately. Sensors are not included.
•  If the pump draws very high power, a contactor must be added in between. The relay on this product will fail with loads above 1500W.
•  Have the 220V pump connection made by a qualified electrician; place the board in a box protected from water and moisture.
•  Incorrect installation can cause the tank to overflow or the pump to run dry. Check operation over several fill cycles after installation.
•  The sensors must be normally open (NO) contact types; a normally closed (NC) or upside down float reverses the pump operation.
