This product is a sensor used to detect the liquid level. You cannot drive a motor or pump by passing high current directly through this product. Adding a relay or contactor like component in between is mandatory. If the sensor is short circuited it means the product has failed because of high current. It cannot be repaired.
Switch NO NC Status: The product will reach you as NC. However if you change the direction of the float of the product you can use it as NO.
It is used to detect the liquid level in tanks filled with liquid. It can activate devices such as a pump, indicator, alarm and similar ones. With the liquid level sensor you can detect whether your tanks are full or empty. The sensor gives output as a dry contact. Depending on the position where you place it, it can be normally open or normally closed. It is used for detecting the liquid level in applications such as Aquarium, Hydroponic Systems, Salt Water Tanks, Washing / Dish Washing Machine, Filtration Systems etc.
The stainless water level float makes use of the buoyancy force of liquids and triggers the reed relay inside the product depending on the movement of the float related to the liquid height. It is light and highly reliable with its simple working principle. It is mounted vertically to the liquid tank. It is easily mounted to surfaces with the M10 type connection.
