OpenLog Data Logging Board
64gb Micro SD Memory Card Uart Spi DC 5V Arduino Bootloader Open Source Atmega328
OpenLog is an open source data logging board that supports Micro SD data recording up to 64GB over a simple serial connection. OpenLog is used for recording the information produced by your project. It serves the function of storing high volume data received via serial communication.
OpenLog has an Atmega328 processor running at 16 MHz and draws 2-3mA current when not logging (5-6mA with the MicroSD card inserted). Along with intensive data logging to the MicroSD card, the drawn current can rise to levels of 20mA-23mA. As Micro SD memory size, sizes from 512 MB up to 64GB are supported. It supports Fat 16/32 file formats. It can transfer data over uart at a maximum speed of 115kbps.
Features:
- IC: Atmega328
- Operating voltage: DC 3.3V-5V
- 2mA idle, 20-23mA current requirement at maximum logging speed

Connections:
UART Interface: The basic communication pins are located on the edge of the board. The header pin layout is suitable for plugging directly into Arduino Pro and Pro Mini.
SPI Interface: The SPI pins are located on the edge opposite the UART interface. These pins can be used for reprogramming the bootloader of the Atmega328, which is the board microcontroller
MicroSD Card: All logged data is stored on the microSd card. The microSD card uses the SPI pins for communication and the configuration of the OpenLog board can be changed from the config.txt file inside it FAT16/FAT32 file formats and maximum 64GB memory cards are supported.
Status LEDs: There are two status LEDs on the board and these LEDs make it easier for you to understand the problem in case of a fault. STAT1: Gives blue light and toggles between off/on positions when a new character is received; it blinks while serial communication continues. STAT2: gives green light. It blinks while the SPI interface is active. You can see this LED light up when 512 bytes are written to the MicroSD card
