The product currently in stock has the MAN16 code on the module; it has 16MB flash memory. Modules with lower flash memory (e.g. MAN8, 8MB, shown in the product picture) may be in stock in different batches. If it is important, please ask for confirmation before ordering.
This board is the nanoESP32-C6 (Muse Lab) development board built on Espressif's ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 module. The ESP32-C6 is a 32-bit RISC-V single-core processor running at up to 160MHz; it has 512KB SRAM and 320KB ROM. A single chip supports 2.4GHz WiFi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3 (LE) and IEEE 802.15.4 (Thread 1.3, Zigbee 3.0), so the same board can connect both to a WiFi network and to Zigbee / Thread sensor networks.
The board has two separate USB Type-C sockets: one is for programming and serial communication through the CH343 USB-serial converter, the other is connected to the ESP32-C6's own (native) USB port. When it is plugged into a computer a COM port appears; the program is uploaded by selecting this port in your software. The board carries 1 RGB LED and BOOT and RST buttons; the module pins are brought out to two rows of 2.54mm pitch pin header positions.
The board can be programmed with Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF and MicroPython. It is suitable for smart home, industrial monitoring and IoT (internet of things) applications that perform control, sensing, monitoring and data logging over WiFi, Bluetooth and Zigbee / Thread.
Key features:
Three wireless links on one board: WiFi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.3 LE and IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee 3.0, Thread 1.3) on the same ESP32-C6 chip; a bridge can be built between Zigbee / Thread networks and WiFi.
Dual USB Type-C: One socket is for programming and serial monitoring through the CH343 USB-serial converter, the other is for the native USB (USB Serial/JTAG) of the ESP32-C6.
Original Espressif module: The board carries an Espressif ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 module with a PCB antenna; the module operates between -40°C and 85°C.
RISC-V processor and memory: 32-bit RISC-V single core, up to 160MHz; 512KB SRAM, 320KB ROM and 16MB flash memory in the batch in stock.
Ready to use: RGB LED, BOOT and RST buttons on the board; it is plugged into a computer with a USB cable and programmed right away.

Usage information:
- Use the USB Type-C socket marked CH343 for programming. If the computer does not recognise the board, download and install the CH343 USB-serial driver (CH343SER) from wch-ic.com; after installation select the COM port that appears in your software.
- In Arduino IDE install the ESP32 board package (Espressif) and select ESP32C6 Dev Module as the board; in ESP-IDF the target is set to "esp32c6". If the upload does not start, hold the BOOT button while pressing and releasing RST.
- The pin headers come unsoldered; solder the headers to the underside of the board to use it on a breadboard.

Precautions:
- In the batch in stock the module has 16MB flash (MAN16); modules with 8MB or lower flash may come in different batches. If the flash size is important, ask for confirmation before ordering.
- The ESP32-C6 pins are 3.3V level; connecting 5V signals damages the module.
- The ESP32-C6 is a single-core RISC-V processor and works only in the 2.4GHz band; it does not connect to 5GHz WiFi networks.
- It does not support Classic Bluetooth (BR/EDR, e.g. Bluetooth audio); only Bluetooth LE is available.
- The module's PCB antenna extends beyond the board edge; do not place metal parts, copper areas or cables under or near the antenna area.
