     Peltiers are ceramic products that can create a temperature difference between their 2 surfaces when electricity is applied. While the temperature rises on one surface, the temperature decreases on the other surface. It is essential that the hot surface is also cooled with an external cooler. Otherwise, very high heat occurs on the hot surface side in a short time and the ceramic structure is irreversibly damaged.

     This peltier cooling system is shipped assembled and ready. It can be used only by making the DC 12V supply connections. There is a 4x4cm aluminum water cooling block on the peltier cooling surface. The very low temperatures occurring on the cooling surface are used to cool the water passing through the aluminum block. On the hot side, there is a cooling part with large aluminum fins and a large 12cm fan mounted on it. These 2 parts undertake the very rapid dissipation of the heat occurring on the hot surface of the peltier.

     The peltier and fan supply voltage is DC 12V. Both parts can be driven from the same source. A power supply of at least 60W must be used. This set can cool volumes of 2-5 liters. When the ambient temperature is 20 degrees, it can lower the temperature in the enclosed area on the cold side to freezing level. It cannot be used in open areas. It is suitable for small enclosed areas.
