There is no reverse connection protection for the supply. The supply must be applied correctly.

     It is an adjustable voltage generator circuit based on pwm signals. It converts the digital pwm signal varying between %0-100 into 0-5V 0-10V analog voltage. The output voltage is formed according to the duty ratio. It is used in areas such as plcs and industrial automation applications. 

     It is very small in size. And it is easy to use.  It is easily calibrated with the potentiometer on it. The pwm signal voltage level is selected with the 2 jumpers located on the left side. The inner jumper will arrive selected as 5V pwm signal input. If you are going to work with 24V pwm signals, the outer jumper must be short circuited.

Terminal Block Connection:

     The connections are shown in the image below ( or image number 3). The 2 way terminal block is for the module supply connection. The 2 on the left of the 4 way terminal block are for the pwm signal input. The 2 on the right are for the 0/10V analog voltage output connection.

Usage:

     After the supply is applied, if there is no pwm signal at the input, the Vout output voltage is at the 0V level. At first operation apply a %50 pwm signal. Meanwhile measure the Vout voltage level. Adjust from the potentiometer on the module so that the output voltage is 5V. If you set Vout to 2.5V at %50 pwm, the system will work as 0-5V.

     The potentiometer is multi turn. It can rotate 40-50 full turns. For this reason you may need to turn it many times in one direction to make the adjustment.  When you see the 5.00V voltage for Vout while adjusting the potentiometer, it means the product is now ready to use.

     If you change the frequency of your pwm signal, you will need to calibrate the product again as described above. The output voltage is formed according to the duty ratio.
