You need to charge your batteries with the current they require. Charging the battery with high current reduces the battery charge cycle count. If you do not know the battery charge current; levels such as 2/10  3/10 of the battery capacity are the normal charge current.

     3A Lithium/Lipo battery charging circuit using the IP2312 integrated circuit.It has a Type C supply input socket. There are 2 pads next to the usb socket for external voltage.  The charging status can be monitored with the charging in progress and charging complete indicator leds. The charge current is 3A from the factory. The charge current can be adjusted to lower currents by changing the resistors given below. The charge voltage is 4.2V. If desired, the charge voltage can be raised to 4.35V.

     Batteries that have dropped below 3V cannot be charged with high current. They are charged slowly with trickle current. After the battery voltage is raised above 3V, it continues with high current constant current charging. By tracking the battery voltage, it completes the charge when the battery is charged. When the charge voltage rises to 4.2V and while the current is below 300mA, it switches to constant voltage mode. At 4 minute intervals it continues charging or stops the charge according to the battery voltage ( 4,15V ). When it drops below 4,1V, battery charging starts again.
