Teensy 2.0 ATmega32u4 Development Board
The Teensy 2.0 development board was developed by PJRC. By allowing programming through an adapted version of the Arduino IDE (Teensyduino) or directly in the C language, Teensy 2.0 makes the low-cost 8 bit AVR platform available to hobbyists, students and engineers. This development board, which uses an Atmega32U4, works very similarly to Arduino.
The Teensy 2.0 Development Board is a USB based ATmega32u4 microcontroller development system. It can be connected to a computer over the miniusb port to upload programs. The pins of the mcu are connected to the empty pin header sockets on the edges. Teensyduino can be used for programming.

ATMEGA32U4
The low-power Microchip 8-bit AVR® RISC-based microcontroller featuring 32 KB self-programming Flash program memory, 2.5 KB SRAM, 1 KB EEPROM, USB 2.0 full-speed/low-speed device, 12-channel 10-bit A/D-converter, and JTAG interface for on-chip-debug. The device achieves up to 16 MIPS throughput at 16 MHz. 2.7-5.5 volt operation.
By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs approaching one MIPS per MHz, allowing you to optimize power consumption versus processing speed
