        The DS1302 real time clock module is for applications where time information is required. Communication can be done using I2C communication. There is a CR2032 battery on the module to be used for the RTC memory. Due to its low power consumption, it shows the time correctly for many years.

        It is used for tracking time and date information in Arduino, Raspberry Pi and various microcontroller projects. It is used in applications such as datalogging, clock applications, timer, time marker and alarm. It can also work with 3.3V supply.
