     ROHM manufactured BD50HC5WEFJ-E2 is a 5V fixed output LDO (Low Drop-Out) regulator. It accepts an input voltage in the 4.5V-8V range and provides a maximum output current of 1.5A, delivering a stable 5V supply in circuits that require high current at a low voltage difference (low dropout). It keeps the need for additional external components minimal and, with its small HTSOP-J8 surface mount package, is suitable for compact electronic designs.

• BDxxHC5WEFJ series ICs are LDO (Low Dropout) voltage regulators with 1.5A output current. The output voltage accuracy is within a ±1% tolerance of the nominal output voltage.
• The series includes both fixed output and adjustable output models. On adjustable output models, the output voltage can be set between 1.5V and 7.0V by using external resistors. In addition, models with different fixed output voltages that do not require external resistors are also available.
• Having a wide field of use, this series can be used in various digital device applications. It has a small sized HTSOP-J8 package type (4.90mm x 6.00mm x 1.00mm).
• These ICs feature internal overcurrent protection to protect the device in case of an output short circuit, a thermal shutdown circuit that protects the device under overload conditions, and a shutdown mode with 0uA current consumption.
• These LDO regulators are compatible with ceramic capacitors, providing a more compact pcb layout and longer service life.
