     The 12V 6x6cm Fan 6010 is a brushless cooling fan measuring 60mm x 60mm x 10mm and running on 12V DC. It draws about 0.15A, spins at about 3500 revolutions per minute (3500RPM) and runs quietly at about 25dB. With its black plastic frame and 11-blade impeller it gives steady airflow in tight spaces; its label carries "DC BRUSHLESS FAN", "DC12V" and the CE / FCC / RoHS marks.

     At only 10mm thick it fits into slim enclosures, device covers and on top of heatsink blocks. It is fixed with screws through the holes in the four corners of the frame. A white 2-pin connector comes fitted to the end of the approximately 15cm red-black cable, so it connects easily to a 12V adapter, the fan output of a controller board or a terminal block. As a 2-pin fan it has no speed signal (no RPM feedback); it runs at a fixed speed as long as power is applied.

     Its larger impeller area moves more air than 4x4cm fans; it is used for incubator ventilation, Peltier cooler blocks, 3D printer electronics boxes and for cooling warm devices such as power supplies, amplifiers and modems. The motor does not turn when connected in reverse; connect it with the correct polarity according to the wire colours.

Usage information:

• Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal of the 12V supply and the black wire to the negative (GND) terminal. A fan connected in reverse does not turn.
• Fix the fan with screws through its 4 corner holes; turn the blades by hand to check that they do not touch screw heads, cables or the enclosure wall.
• Check the airflow direction before installation by running the fan briefly; place it so that it blows hot air out of the box or onto the heatsink block.

Points to consider:

•  The fan is made for 12V DC; do not apply a voltage higher than 12V, the motor may be damaged. It cannot be connected directly to mains voltage (220V).
•  Mind the polarity: a fan connected in reverse does not turn. Check that the red wire goes to the positive (+) terminal before connecting.
•  It is a 2-pin fan and gives no speed signal (RPM measurement); on 3-pin fan inputs that monitor speed it may trigger a fan failure warning.
•  Fingers, cables or screws must not touch the spinning blades; fit a fan guard if it is used in an open area.
•  This product is a 6x6cm (60mm) fan; it does not fit 4x4cm or 5x5cm fan slots. Check the slot size before buying.
