10cm 40 Pin Male to Male Dupont Cable
100mm Detachable 2.54mm 10 Color Breadboard Jumper Wire Test Prototype Circuit Connection Cable
This product is a 10cm long ribbon of 40 bonded jumper wires with a male pin on both ends. Each end of every wire has a single male pin in a plastic housing; it plugs without soldering into breadboard holes and into 2.54mm pitch female pin headers (female sockets). The wires come in 10 different colours and the colour order repeats every 10 wires (4 groups).
The wires are bonded side by side and separate easily by hand: they can be used as single jumpers or as small ribbons of 2, 4, 8 or any number of wires. The male ends fit into adjacent holes at 2.54mm pitch without blocking each other. Thanks to the short 10cm length, connections on the breadboard and between nearby boards leave no excess cable.
It is used for building circuits on a breadboard, connecting a breadboard to development boards with female headers, carrying lines between two breadboards and making temporary bridges during repair. It can be plugged and unplugged repeatedly for a long time. The difference from our 40 Pin 10cm Dupont Cable Female Female is the ends: both ends of this cable are male pins.
Key features:
Male on both ends: Each wire has a single male pin on both ends; it plugs directly into breadboard holes and female pin header sockets, no soldering needed.
Peelable 40-wire ribbon: The 40 wires are bonded side by side; peel off as many as you need and keep lines that run together (e.g. 4-wire I2C, 6-wire SPI) as a small ribbon.
Standard 2.54mm pitch: The male ends match breadboards and 2.54mm pitch female headers and fit into adjacent holes without blocking each other.
Easy line tracking: 10 different colours repeat every 10 wires; power, ground and signal lines are told apart by colour, so connections do not get mixed up.
Short 10cm length: Gives tidy, non-sagging connections on the breadboard and between boards placed side by side; leaves no excess cable on bench setups.

- Wire colours: 10 colours (black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, grey, white), repeating every 10 wires
- Cable length: 10cm
- Weight: approximately 25gr
Usage information:
- Peel off the required number of wires by hand starting from the edge of the ribbon; keeping lines that run together (power, ground, data) as a small ribbon keeps the wiring tidy.
- Follow a colour scheme (e.g. black GND, red power) and check that both ends go to the correct hole before connecting.
- Push the male pin straight into the hole or female socket until fully seated; when removing, pull by the plastic housing, not by the wire.
Applications:
- Building circuits and jumper links between rows on a breadboard
- Connecting a breadboard to development boards with female headers
- Carrying power and signal lines between two breadboards
- Connecting sensor modules plugged into a breadboard
- Bringing breadboard lines out to the female-ended leads of a logic analyzer or measuring instrument
- Control connections over a breadboard in robot and vehicle kits
- Test connections between boards with female headers
- Quick temporary bridges during repair and fault finding
- School and laboratory circuit kits
Precautions:
- Both ends are male; it does not plug onto male pin headers on boards or modules. Connecting modules with male pins requires a female-ended (female-female or male-female) jumper wire.
- These are thin wires; do not power high-current loads such as motors, LED strips or heaters through them.
- Make connections with the power off; a wire plugged into the wrong hole can cause a short circuit.
- Do not remove the cable by pulling the wire; the wire may break off the end. Do not bend the pins; a bent pin does not seat properly in the hole.
- In vibrating or long-term fixed connections the ends may loosen; use a locking connector or a soldered joint for permanent installations.
