     The 30A 60V DC Motor Driver is a panel type, boxed speed control circuit that adjusts the speed of brushed DC motors running between DC 6V-60V steplessly with PWM. It delivers 30A maximum current; the recommended continuous current is 20A. It works at 15kHz PWM frequency; the speed is set between %0-100 with the potentiometer connected by cable. The same unit can be used in 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V systems.

     The 3 digit red LED display on the front panel shows the PWM output ratio as a percentage; the cabled start / stop button stops and restarts the motor without changing the speed setting. Supply and motor are connected with the 4 screw terminals on the side (POWER+, POWER-, MOTOR, MOTOR), no soldering needed. The black box fits into an approx. 92mm x 56mm cutout in a panel; the potentiometer and the button can also be screwed to the panel.

     It suits geared motors, fans, pumps, conveyor belts and DC motor driven machines.

     Percentage display: The 3 digit LED display shows the PWM ratio applied to the output as %0-100; returning to the same speed setting is easy.

     Start / stop button: The motor is stopped and restarted with the button without changing the speed setting.

     Panel type box: The boxed unit mounts on the front of a machine or control panel; connections are made with screw terminals.

Usage information:

• Connect the positive of the supply to the POWER+ terminal, the negative to the POWER- terminal and the two motor leads to the MOTOR terminals. If the motor turns the wrong way, swap the motor leads.
• Set the potentiometer to the lowest position, apply power, start the motor with the start / stop button and increase the speed slowly with the potentiometer.
• The display value does not show the motor RPM; it shows what percentage of the input voltage is passed to the output; at the same setting the motor speed changes with the load.

Precautions:

•  The % value does not show the motor speed. It shows what percentage of the input voltage is passed to the output.
•  The product does not work with 220V. It is damaged at voltages above DC 60V.
•  Do not reverse the supply cables; the unit is damaged if POWER+ and POWER- are swapped.
•  30A is the maximum current; do not exceed 20A in continuous use and take the start and stall current of the motor into account. Mount the box in a ventilated place.
•  The unit is only for brushed DC motors; it is not used with brushless (BLDC) motors, stepper motors or AC motors. There is no direction switch.
