     This product is a Deek-Robot brand digital voltmeter, ammeter and wattmeter that simultaneously shows DC 0-100V voltage, 0-10A current and the 0-1000W power calculated from them. The measurement results are read together on the large 3 row blue-white LCD: voltage (V) on the top row, current (A) in the middle and power (W) at the bottom. The display refreshes every 300ms; voltage, current and power accuracy is ±1%.

     The meter is powered not from the measured line but from a separate DC 7-12V source; there is a 78L05 regulator on the board that generates its own supply. Connection is made with two cables with sockets: in the 3 wire cable red (+) and black (-) are the supply and white is the voltage measuring lead; the cable with 2 thick wires is connected in series with the line to be measured, and the current is measured with the ready shunt resistor inside the device. With the V_CAL and A_CAL potentiometers next to the display, the voltage and current readings can be calibrated against another meter you trust. Its black plastic case is panel mount and is fixed to the panel with the clips on its sides.

     Separately powered measurement: Since the meter is powered from a separate 7-12V source, voltage is measured down to 0V; there is no minimum voltage requirement on the measured line.

     Calibratable: With the V_CAL (voltage) and A_CAL (current) potentiometers on the front, the reading is adjusted to a reference meter.

     Internal shunt: Current up to 10A is measured with the shunt resistor inside the device; no external shunt is connected.

     Ready cables: The 3 wire cable for supply / voltage measurement and the cable with 2 thick wires for current measurement, both with sockets, are in the package.

Usage information:

• Supply: connect the red (+) and black (-) leads of the 3 wire cable to a separate DC 7-12V source. The meter does not work without supply.
• Voltage measurement: connect the white lead to the positive end of the voltage to be measured. Voltage is measured relative to the black (-) lead; the negative of the measured circuit and the negative of the meter supply must be common.
• Current measurement: connect the cable with 2 thick wires in series with the load in the line whose current will be measured. Power is calculated automatically from the measured voltage and current.
• Calibration: measure the same point with a meter you trust; if the reading differs, adjust the voltage with the V_CAL potentiometer and the current with the A_CAL potentiometer using a small screwdriver.

Points to consider:

•  When measuring voltages above 25V, never join the red (supply +) and white (measuring) leads; if you join these two leads the product will be damaged. We recommend always using the measuring lead independently of the supply lead.
•  The meter supply must be 7-12V; a supply above 25V damages the product.
•  Do not exceed the 100V and 10A limits. The current cable is connected in series with the load; if it is connected directly (in parallel) to a voltage source, a short circuit occurs.
•  Make the connections while the circuit is de-energized; do not touch exposed leads with bare hands.
•  This meter measures DC (direct current) only; it must not be connected to AC mains voltage.
