     This set of 5 consists of small plastic boxes made for storing small parts such as SMD resistors, capacitors, diodes, leds and transistors. The outer size of a single box is about 32mm x 25mm x 22mm and its inner space is about 21.5mm x 18mm x 18mm; each box weighs about 6gr, and the 5 boxes weigh about 30gr in total. Every box has a transparent lid, so the contents are visible without opening it.

     When the latch at the front is pressed, the lid opens by itself thanks to its spring hinge and rises up to 90 degrees; when pressed back down it locks closed. Thanks to the grooves and ridges on all four sides, the boxes slide into each other; they can be arranged side by side, back to back or as a block to fit your desk or drawer. This way a separate box is used for each value or package and parts do not get mixed.

     There are 5 different color options. If you need a specific color, be sure to contact us after ordering. Otherwise, mixed colors will be sent according to stock availability.

Key features:

     Spring-loaded, latching lid: Pressing the front latch springs the lid open up to 90 degrees; when closed the latch keeps the lid shut.

     Transparent lid: Because the lid is clear, you can see which part is in which box without opening it; you do not have to open every box while looking for the right value.

     Interlocking body: The joining profiles on four sides connect the boxes. The 5 boxes can be joined as a single block or in any layout you like; more boxes of the same type can be added to grow the set.

     Small and light: At about 32mm x 25mm x 22mm and about 6gr, it takes up very little space in a drawer, tool case or on the bench.

     Easy sorting: With boxes in different colors, part types (e.g. resistor, capacitor, led) can be separated by color.

Usage information:

• To open the box, press the latch at the front; the lid rises by itself with the spring. When closing, press the lid until the latch snaps into place.
• To join the boxes, align the side profile of one box with the groove of the other and slide it in; slide in the opposite direction to separate them.
• Put a single value or package in each box and stick a small label with the value on or beside the lid; separate the colors by part type.

Precautions:

•  The boxes are not waterproof; do not leave parts in humid places and keep them away from liquids.
•  The product is not specified as antistatic. Store static-sensitive ICs in an antistatic bag.
•  The boxes have a single compartment and a small inner space (about 21.5mm x 18mm x 18mm); SMD tape on reels does not fit, they are for cut tape strips or loose parts.
•  Do not force the lid against the hinge direction; the spring hinge and latch may break.
•  Color choice depends on stock; if you want a specific color, contact us after ordering.
