     It is an optical sensor that produces 500 pulses in one full turn. It is used for measuring parameters such as rotation speed, direction, angle, acceleration, and travel distance. Based on this information, we can perform various control operations precisely. It is used to understand the speed of moving systems and where the system is. Or, for example, it can be used for the control function in a sound control operation.

     It can operate with DC 5-24V supply. The signals generated as the encoder shaft turns are counted with a microprocessor kit such as arduino or a circuit, and the number of rotations is found. The outputs are used by connecting to an mcu pin with a pull up resistor. If the encoder ends are floating, you may not be able to measure properly with an oscilloscope. It is appropriate to measure with a scope by connecting 2 pull up resistors to the supply.
