The product does not have a charge voltage adjustment circuit. Your main input voltage must be in a range that can charge the battery. If you apply an incorrect charge voltage, the connected cell/battery will be damaged. Risks such as fire may occur.

     It is a power backup module used to switch automatically between the main power supply and the battery/cell backup supply in systems in the DC 5V-48V range.

     While the main adapter or power supply is connected, the load device is powered through the DC input. When an adapter, power supply or charger with a suitable voltage is used, charge support can be provided to the connected battery/cell side. When the main supply is cut off, the module automatically switches to the battery/cell line and allows the connected device to keep working.

     On the module there are separate terminal blocks for the DC power input, the BAT battery/cell connection and the OUT load output. Thanks to the power indicator led, the supply status can be easily followed.

     This product can be used for backup supply against power outages in modems, routers, camera systems, alarm systems, IoT devices, control circuits and DC powered electronic projects.

Important warning:

• The product does not have a charge voltage adjustment circuit. The main input voltage must be suitable for the battery/cell group used.
• If an incorrect charge voltage is applied, the connected cell/battery may be damaged; risks such as heating, fire or equipment failure may occur.
• For example, a 24V adapter or a 24V power supply must not be used with a 12V battery. In this case the battery may be overcharged, the board may be damaged and a failure may occur in the connected device.
• This product is not a professional battery charger or a BMS. It does not adjust the charge voltage, does not control the charge current and does not cut the charge automatically when the battery is full.

Connection explanation:

• DC+ / DC-    Adapter, power supply or suitable charger input
• BAT+ / BAT-    Backup battery or cell connection
• OUT+ / OUT-    Device to be powered / load output

Operating logic:

While the adapter or power supply is connected, the load device works from the main supply. If a voltage suitable for the battery/cell group used is provided, charge support can be given to the battery side. When the main supply is cut off, the module activates the battery/cell line and allows the connected device to keep working from the battery/cell.

Points to consider during use:

• The adapter, battery/cell and load voltage to be used must be selected compatible with each other.
• In a 12V system, a charge voltage suitable for a 12V battery must be used.
• In a 24V system, a charge voltage suitable for a 24V battery must be used.
• In a 48V system, a charge voltage suitable for a 48V battery group must be used.
• In lithium cell applications, a suitable BMS or protection circuit must be used.
• In lead-acid battery applications, a charge voltage and current limitation suitable for the battery type must be provided.
• The polarity must certainly be checked before making the connection.
• Reverse connection or wrong voltage may damage the product and the connected devices.
