     A thermocouple is a high precision temperature measuring sensor. The sensor is obtained by fusing 2 different materials. A potential difference occurs from the reactions of the two materials against temperature. By measuring this difference, the temperature measurement operation is carried out. In this product, the measurement operation is performed by the MAX6675 integrated circuit produced by the Maxim company. It can be used with arduino and other kits by communicating with the module over the SPI port.

     The MAX6675 integrated circuit has a temperature resolution of 0.25C and can measure between -20C / +85C. It can operate with a DC 3.3V / 5V supply voltage. It has very widespread areas of use.
