This product is a sensor used to detect the liquid level. You cannot drive a motor pump by passing high current directly through this product. Adding a component such as a relay or contactor in between is mandatory. If the sensor has short circuited, it means the product has been damaged due to high current. It cannot be repaired.
Switch NO NC Status: The product will reach you as NC. However, if you change the direction of the product's float, you can use it as NO.
It is used to detect the liquid level in tanks filled with liquid. It can activate devices such as a pump, indicator, alarm and the like. With the liquid level sensor you can detect whether your reservoirs are full or empty. The sensor gives output as a dry contact. Depending on the position in which you place it, it can be normally open or normally closed. It is used for detecting the liquid level in applications such as Aquariums, Hydroponic Systems, Salt Water Tanks, Washing/Dish Washing Machines, Filtration Systems and similar.
The stainless water level float triggers the reed relay inside the product depending on the movement of the float relative to the liquid height, making use of the buoyancy force of liquids. It is highly reliable with its light weight and simple operating principle. It is mounted vertically to the liquid tank. It is easily mounted to surfaces with an M10 type connection.
