     It is a microphone sensor module with an automatic gain circuit used in sound detection applications. It is a very well designed circuit. It has a quality electret microphone. The Max4466 automatic gain IC is located on the module.  It is used for detecting sounds between 20hz / 20Khz. Max9814 is designed especially for electret microphones.

     This module is quite easy to use. It is sufficient to connect the GND pin to ground and the VCC pin to DC 2.4 / 5V. The sound signal can be taken over the OUT pin. There is a voltage at the output with a DC bias of VCC/2, so a constant voltage is output even during silent moments. If your audio equipment requires AC coupled sound, you can place a 100uF capacitor between the output pin and the input of your device. If the sound amplifier will be connected directly to speakers, you need to use an amp.
