     HB100 is an X-Band Bi-Static Doppler transceiver module. It has a built-in dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) and a pair of microstrip patch type antennas.
     The Doppler radar module is used to detect moving objects using the microwave Doppler effect. This module has usage areas such as automatic door control, security systems, motion controlled video systems, automatic train signals etc. The HB100 chip uses the 10.525GHz microwave standard.

     The Doppler method is basically time dependent, it is based on the wave frequency change at different times with the motion of the object when a radio wave comes from an object. If the object is standing still, the frequency of the wave arriving at the sensor is constant. If the object moves in the direction it first moved, the frequency increases, if it moves in the other direction, the frequency decreases. It has some advantages compared to other object detection methods:

•  Not affected by environmental conditions ( temperature, humidity, sound, dust, light)
•  No interference with Rf waves
•  The output signal is small so that it does not harm human health.
•  It can measure a detection distance of more than 20 meters.

NOTE: Use a low voltage and grounded soldering iron to solder this module. It is a module that is very sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Especially the IF output of the module has high sensitivity. Seeing a voltage of around 0.25V between IF and GND in the diode mode of your multimeter shows that the module is intact.
