Water Level Sensor Vertical ZP2508

     It is used to detect the liquid level in tanks filled with liquid. It can activate devices such as a pump, indicator, alarm and the like. With the liquid level sensor you can see whether your tanks are full or empty. The sensor gives output as a dry contact. Depending on the position you place it in, it can be normally open or normally closed.    

     It can be placed on top of the liquid or inside the liquid. When placed facing downward as in picture number 1, it operates as NC (short circuit) when its float is downward. When its float rises upward it becomes NO (open circuit). With the switch on it, it can activate various devices such as alarms and pumps. However, if the load draws high current, you need to add a contactor or relay in between. Otherwise the switch inside the product burns out and short circuits.
