     The 25T Metal Servo Arm is a clamp type aluminum servo arm that fits a 25 tooth (25T) servo shaft. It measures 34.5mm x 14.4mm x 6mm (about 35mm x 15mm x 6mm); a rod end or an M3 screw is screwed directly into the 2 M3 threaded holes on the arm. It is compatible with standard size servos such as MG995, MG996R, MG946R, MG945, S3003 and with 25T shaft Futaba, TowerPro and Power HD servos.

     The hub that sits on the shaft is split; when the 2 clamping screws are tightened, the hub grips the shaft like a clamp. Thanks to this, the arm does not slip on the shaft under load and vibration, and stripped splines and flexing are much less likely than with plastic servo arms. The clamp structure also tolerates small differences in shaft diameter.

     It is used instead of a plastic arm on the steering servo of RC vehicles, in robot arm and gripper joints, and in the control linkages of RC boats and airplanes. The colour will be sent as blue or red depending on stock availability.

Usage information:

• Bring the servo to the centre position (90 degrees), seat the arm on the 25T shaft in the desired direction, then tighten the 2 clamping screws in turn and evenly.
• Connect the rod end or linkage rod with an M3 screw to one of the threaded holes on the arm. The hole near the hub gives shorter travel and more force; the outer hole gives longer travel.
• In vibrating use (RC car, boat) you can use a medium strength thread locker on the clamping screws and the M3 connection.

Precautions:

•  The arm only fits servos with a 25T shaft. It does not fit servos with a different tooth count or micro servos such as SG90 and MG90S; check the tooth count of your servo.
•  Do not overtighten the clamping screws; the screw threads and the servo shaft can be damaged.
•  A load connected to the outer hole of the arm strains the servo more; choose the load according to the servo torque.
•  The colour cannot be chosen; the product will be sent as blue or red depending on stock availability.
