Powerbank Circuit 5V 2.4A Usb Output
Type-C Usb Lithium Battery 5V 2.4A Charge Discharge 18650 Power Supply DIY Portable Energy
This module is a high efficiency charge and discharge (boost) circuit developed for single cell lithium batteries. It has both a Type-C input and a Usb-A output. The Usb A socket has a sinking board design embedded into the pcb; thanks to this the total thickness of the board has been reduced to only 5.8mm and it offers an excellent solution for ultra thin projects.
The module performs both charging the 3.7V lithium battery and boosting the energy in the battery to the 5V level and delivering it to the outside (boost) on its own. Thanks to the smart chip on it, it automatically adjusts the charging current according to the battery voltage. Thanks to the button and led indicators on the left side of the board, the battery charge level can be tracked instantaneously. In addition, on the right side of the board there are 5V and GND pads from which you can take output by soldering a cable as an alternative to the Usb port.
Input and output sockets
Type-c socket
- Charge input: It is used to charge the lithium battery connected to the module. It allows the battery to be charged by connecting to a standard 5V adapter or computer port.
- Charge output: You can charge your phone or your other devices using a Type-C to Type-C cable.
Usb-a socket
- Provides 5v fixed output
- Used for powering external devices
- Maximum output current 2.4a
B+ / B- pads
- It is for 3.7V li-ion battery connection
- Connecting the battery in reverse causes permanent damage to the product.
- Multiple batteries can only be connected in parallel
- Series battery connection must not be made
- Battery connection cables must not be made with thin wires. They must not be too long
- Quality batteries must be used. Do not use old and worn batteries.
5v / gnd pads
- They are solderable alternative 5v output points

Usage instructions and warnings:
- Battery Connection (B+ / B-): The battery is connected to the "B+" and "B-" pads located at the bottom corners of the board in the image. B+ must go to the plus of the battery, B- to the minus of the battery.
- Batteries can absolutely not be connected in series (if 7.4V etc. is applied the product is damaged). Capacity can be increased only by connecting 3.7V batteries in parallel.
- When you solder the battery for the first time the circuit may not give output. To become active you need to plug it in for charging from the type c port.
- Button and Indicator: When the button on the left side is pressed briefly, the 4 leds next to the Type-c port light up and show the battery level. The leds turn off automatically after about 30 seconds.
- Connection: The batteries must be soldered to the B+ and B- pads. There is no reverse connection protection, pay attention to the polarities.
- The battery connection cables must be thick enough to carry the high current (2.4A) and as short as possible.
Meanings of the indicator leds:
- 4 Led: %75-100 battery level
- 3 Led: %50-75 battery level
- 2 Led: %25-50 battery level
- 1 Led: %0-25 battery level (low battery)
- Blinking Led: Charging or battery very low
