     The DRV8833 IC contains 2 h bridge drivers. It can drive 2 DC motors or 1 stepper motor. It can supply 1.2A of current from each bridge. It can supply 2A of current momentarily. It can deliver a total of 4A momentary current. After levels of about 0.6A in total, the IC needs to be cooled.

     Motor direction and speed can be controlled. It has overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, undervoltage lockout and overheating protections. It has a sleep mode. The speed and direction of the DC motors can be controlled independently of each other.
