     This version of the QRE1113 sensor board has a digital output. It has 2 LEDs, an infrared transmitter and receiver. It is suitable for line following applications. It is ready to be used with digital i/o. It can be used with 3.3V and 5V supply voltages. It consists of an IR led and an IR receiver transistor. The infrared light sent by the IR led reflects off the surface. The reflected light is detected by the IR receiver transistor.
 
     These sensors are very widely used in line following robots. Light reflects more from white surfaces. Depending on the detection of this light, the function of moving along the line is performed.
