     The Force Pressure Sensor RP-C18.3-ST provides the possibility to measure forces between 20g and 6kg with high sensitivity. It is manufactured from thin flexible film. It has very low power consumption and an extremely fast response time. It is round and small in size.

     The pressure detector is manufactured in a thin structure from conductive material. On the upper part, the pressure sensing layer is covered with film. On the lower part there are thin film and conductive materials. When pressure occurs from the upper part, the conductive sections on the lower part make contact. In this way a resistance change occurs. As the force increases, the output resistance decreases.

     Thanks to its ultra thin and flexible structure, it can easily be integrated into narrow areas, curved surfaces or wide contact areas. It allows monitoring of force density, intensity and application frequency. With these features it is preferred in many professional applications such as pressure switches, bed and presence detection systems, smart shoe soles, medical and rehabilitation devices.

     The sensor does not generate EMI and ESD, it works without noise. Thanks to its low creep value, it maintains measurement stability under long term static load. With its high cycle life it is suitable for industrial and continuous use scenarios.
