     This is a panel-mount digital wattmeter that shows voltage in DC circuits from 6V to 200V, current from 0A to 20A and the power calculated from them (0kW - 4kW) at the same time. The large backlit LCD shows voltage (V), current (A) and power (W) on three lines; the meter also measures energy consumption (kWh), operating time (hours) and impedance (Ω). A shunt is built in for current measurement, no external shunt is needed.

     Wiring is done with the 4-way screw terminal on the back: terminal 1 is input positive (DC 6-200V), terminal 4 is input negative, terminals 2 and 3 are the output positive and output negative where the load is connected. The meter is powered from the line it measures, no separate supply is needed; therefore the line must be at least 6V. The black plastic housing fits an approx. 63mm x 63mm panel cut-out and is held by the clips on both sides; it fits battery, solar, charger and DC power supply panels.

     The backlight is switched on and off with a short press of the button on the front. Settings (such as the alarm limits) are made in the menu opened with a long press and are saved to memory automatically; settings and measured data are kept after power is removed. For the over-power (overload) and over-voltage alarm, the backlight and the related value flash when the set limit is exceeded.

     Built-in shunt, 4-terminal wiring: An internal shunt is used for current measurement; input and load connect to the 4-way screw terminal, no separate shunt or current transformer is needed.

     Panel mounting: The black plastic housing sits in an approx. 63mm x 63mm panel cut-out and is held by the clips on both sides; the wiring diagram on the rear label guides installation.

Usage information:

• Connect the source positive to terminal 1 and the source negative to terminal 4. Connect the load positive to terminal 2 and the load negative to terminal 3. The wiring diagram is also printed on the rear label of the meter.
• A short press of the button switches the backlight on or off. Holding the button for 5s opens the settings menu; in the menu a 3s press changes the setting group. If no action is taken for 10s the settings are saved, the meter leaves the menu and keeps measuring.
• The meter is powered from the line it measures; if the line voltage drops below 6V the meter does not work. Circuits below 6V cannot be measured with this meter.

Precautions:

•  For direct current (DC) only; do not connect to mains (AC 220V).
•  The measured voltage must not exceed 200V and the current must not exceed 20A. At more than 15A for a long time the terminals and internal shunt heat up; for continuous high current choose a higher current meter and use thick cables.
•  Terminal order matters: swapping input and output terminals or reversing polarity can damage the meter. Make the connections with the power off.
•  Voltages close to 200V are dangerous; do not touch the terminals while powered and keep the connection closed behind the panel.
