      8 red dip type switches with 2 positions that can carry low current. The distance between the 2 rows of pins is 300mil ( 2.54mm x 3 ). It is suitable for use with breadboards. It is used in applications such as switching various low current signals. They are used in address definition, applications where settings can be changed and similar circuits.

     When the switch is moved to the side where the On text is, it is short circuited internally. The relevant circuit connection is completed. When it is moved to the side of the numbers, it becomes an open circuit. The switch stays permanently in the position it is set to. It is changed by sliding it from one position to the other with a suitable material.
