     The LP-XDS110ET LaunchPad development kit debugger is a tool to program and debug Texas Instruments (TI) microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSP XDS-compatible devices. The LP-XDS110ET has been designed to connect directly to split Launchpad development kits via the 20-pin edge connector, however they can also be used to debug other LaunchPad development kits and XDS-compatible devices using the XDS110 out connector. The LP-XDS110ET has added circuitry for power measurements to support EnergyTrace software.

     To use your new LP-XDS110ET Debug Probe with an LP-EM LaunchPad (sold separately), you need to connect the 20-pin LP-EM Debug connector to the corresponding header on theLP-EM LaunchPad.

     Simply connect the edge connector of the Debug Probe to the edge connector of the LaunchPad and connect the USB port of the Debug Probe to the host computer. A secondary UART communications channel will also be available and power to the LaunchPad will be provided directly
