     Peltiers are ceramic products that can create a temperature difference between their 2 surfaces when electricity is applied. While the temperature rises on one surface, the temperature drops on the other surface. It is essential that the hot surface additionally be cooled with an external heatsink. Otherwise, very high heat builds up on the hot surface side in a short time and the ceramic structure is irreversibly damaged.

          This peltier cooling system is shipped assembled and ready. It can be used simply by making the DC 12V supply connections. On the peltier cooling surface there is a 4x4cm aluminum water cooling block. The very low temperatures formed on the cooling surface are used to cool the water passing through the aluminum block. On the hot side there is a heatsink part with aluminum fins and a 4cm fan mounted on it. These 2 parts undertake the very fast dissipation of the heat formed on the hot surface of the peltier.

     The supply voltage of the peltier and the fan is DC 12V. Both parts can be driven from the same source. A power supply of at least 60W must be used. This set can cool volumes of 2-5 liters. When the ambient temperature is 20 degrees, it can lower the temperature in the enclosed area on the cold side to freezing level. It cannot be used in open areas. It is suitable for small enclosed areas.
