     The KY-031 vibration sensor module has a spring based vibration detection mechanism and is used to detect mechanical shocks such as vibration, impact or collision. The sensor itself has a flexible spring fixed at one end. The opposite end is suspended over a large contact plate. When an impact event occurs, the spring moves inside the housing and hits the plate. This completes the circuit and allows a small amount of current to pass. This signal can be detected as a trigger event by a microcontroller. It is suitable for use in applications that require impact or motion detection in projects. For example, it makes it possible to detect events such as knocking or tapping on a door.
