     The 1kg weight sensor kit is a load cell and HX711 converter module set prepared for use in small scale and weight measurement projects. The kit contains a 1kg capacity aluminum load cell, an HX711 24 bit ADC module, plexi platform parts, connection cables and mounting screws. Digital scales, kitchen scales, small cargo scales, laboratory measurement setups and educational projects can be made with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico and similar microcontrollers.

     The weight applied on the load cell creates a very small electrical signal inside the sensor. The HX711 module amplifies this low level signal and converts it into digital data and transfers it to the microcontroller over the DT and SCK pins. The HX711 module is not an I2C module; it is used with a two pin special serial communication structure. For a healthy measurement, calibration must be done through software after installation and the adjustment value must be determined with a known reference weight.

     This product is not a ready commercial scale; it is for hobby, prototype, education and electronic project use. To get correct results the load cell must be mounted mechanically in the correct direction, the platform must not rub against another surface, the sensor must not be exposed to torsion or side load and the 1kg capacity must not be exceeded. Measurement sensitivity varies according to mechanical mounting, supply stability, vibration, software filtering and calibration quality.

Note: Load cell cable colors may vary according to the production batch. When making the connection, the E+, E-, A+ and A- marks on the HX711 board must be taken as the basis. A wrong connection may cause the measurement value to appear reversed, faulty or unstable.
