      The switches in this type of sensor can drive low power loads. In applications where high current will be drawn, the sensors should not be used directly. After this sensor, it is essential to use a component such as a relay or contactor in between. If the sensor switch is short circuited, it means the product has been damaged due to high current. It cannot be repaired.

     The electrical state for the NC type is shown on the left side in picture number 8. When the switch and the magnet are side by side, the cables go into a short circuit ( 0 ohm ) state. When they are separated from each other, the cables become open circuit. The connection to the system that will perform the detection must be made according to these conditions. The product test can be performed in the short circuit test mode of the multimeter. When they stand side by side, the short circuit sound is heard from the multimeter.
