The SGP40 is a gas sensor with very high sensitivity for indoor air quality applications. It has a long life and stability. It measures ethanol and other volatile gases. Together with Sensirion's powerful VOC algorithm, the sensor signal can be used directly to evaluate indoor air quality. It has low power (2.6 mA), fast response (2 sec) and small size. The data from the sensor can be used directly to evaluate air quality without calibration.
The SGP40 Air Quality sensor, integrated with the IIC interface, is very suitable for indoor projects that will be used for a long time, such as air purifiers, kitchen cooker hoods etc. In addition, we provide you with C and Python libraries for use with different main controllers.
