     VL6180X is a very high precision distance measurement sensor module. It has a wavelength of 850nm. It works with 1 mm measurement precision for distances up to 1 meter. The sensor has a very small laser source. It calculates the distance according to the return time of the laser light it sends. The reflection of the light back from the surface is required. Its advantage compared to Ir sensors is that it can measure the distance with much higher accuracy.

     I2C communication is performed with the VL6180X sensor. It can be used in applications for detecting the presence of obstacles and objects. It can be used in operations such as detecting hand gestures. It offers a powerful solution for robotic projects, smart devices and interactive systems.
