It is a 2 channel relay module that can be triggered with DC 12V. It is designed for the control of external AC or DC loads in microcontroller and automation projects. There are 2 pcs JQC3F-12VDC-C relays on the board. It can be used directly with control boards such as Arduino, esp, raspberry pi.
The J1 jumper on it allows you to select the connection between the relay coil supply and the control logic supply. This way you can easily switch between standard and isolated operating modes.

J1 Jumper description:
When J1 is installed: The relay coil and the control logic circuit are powered from the same 12V source. It provides simple use with a single power supply.
When J1 is removed: A separate 12V supply can be applied for the relay coil. In this case the control logic circuit works isolated over the optocoupler; the microcontroller side and the power side are separated. This is useful for isolating effects such as noise, switching fluctuations and current draw from the control circuit. This structure makes not only the trigger level but also the power architecture selectable and provides an advantage especially in systems that require isolation.
Warnings:
- In long term use, 7-8A should not be exceeded. Relay contacts may stick.
- The contact structure of the relays is mechanical; it is not suitable for high frequency switching.
- Isolation and safety precautions must certainly be taken when used with the AC mains.
- The J1 jumper setting must be used in the correct position according to the system architecture; wrong connection may cause supply problems.
