In some batches the product carries STM32F431. In some (new) batch products there is an STM32G473 processor. In the future it may come with a different processor as well. This cannot be shown as a reason for returning this product. 

     It is used to connect to the CAN communication line over the Pc usb port to communicate, monitor data and perform analysis. Data is transferred to the computer very fast over the usb port. It can be used for learning the CAN network, developing applications, testing, etc.

     When plugged into the computer, a com port is created. If the boot jumper is short circuited and the board is powered, the processor enters programming mode. In this case the firmware update can be done quickly over the usb port. The 120ohm resistor can be enabled or disabled with the jumper next to the terminal block. Connection to the can line is established with the 3 pin terminal block. The operating status of the board can be monitored with 3 indicator leds.
