     The Mini Real Time Clock module is designed for Raspberry Pi. It can also be used with Arduino. It plugs into the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins and you do not need to make any other connection.

     The RTC keeps second, minute, hour, day, date, month and year information. The date at the end of the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including corrections for leap year. The clock operates in 24-hour or 12-hour format, together with an AM / PM indicator. It is used for tracking time and date information. It is used in applications such as datalogging, clock applications, timer, time stamping, alarm.
