     It was developed in order to be able to use character lcd modules such as 16x2 20x4 with 2 pins over the IIC communication protocol. Using an lcd with mcus and kits that have a low pin count creates a problem. When this module, communicated with over the I2c port, is used, there is the possibility of using the mcu pins that are gained for different jobs. In the case that standard lcds are driven in 4 bit, 7 io must be allocated to lcd use. However with this board an lcd can be driven with only 2 pins. You gain 5 pins. In addition, with the same I2c port, you can continue to use it in different circuits as well by defining an address.

     On the board there is 1 pcs potentiometer for contrast adjustment. There is 1 pcs jumper switch to be used in the task of turning the backlight on and off.  A 16 pin male header is on the board for the lcd connection.  With its very small structure it takes up very little space behind lcds. It is very suitable for use in your projects.
