This module is a LIS3DSH based three axis linear acceleration sensor. It is designed for advanced motion detection applications with ultra low power consumption, high resolution data output, wide measurement range and an embedded state machine (FSM). It can easily be used with Arduino, STM32, ESP32 and other microcontrollers over I2c or Spi.
If you want to capture not only the presence of motion in your projects but also its details with high precision, the LIS3DSH is just right for you. This module is an ultra low power consuming, high performance 3 axis linear accelerometer belonging to the "Nano" family of STMicroelectronics.
In addition, the module has 3 analog inputs, two programmable interrupt outputs, an embedded temperature sensor, 16 bit data output and a FIFO buffer.
Unlike standard accelerometers, the LIS3DSH has two programmable embedded state machines (Finite State Machine). This feature allows the sensor to detect certain motion patterns (shaking, double tap, falling etc.) internally without waking up the main processor (Arduino etc.). This means enormous energy savings and a reduction in processor load in battery powered projects.
